This page will include the skills and concepts we are focusing on currently. I will move items down to a review section after the initial introduction to a concept.  We are always reviewing and building on the skills we've already learned! :)

• Fine Motor Skills:
  • Coloring inside the lines (Coloring slowly with small movements around the edges "build up that wall on the edge." Then they can color the inner area a little quicker.) Using different colors in a picture
  • Pre-writing skills
  • Cutting with scissors (following these rules: scissors are "tools, not toys," cut away from your belly, "thumbs up" when cutting with scissors, make small cuts (Don't close all the way, then open and slide to make a smoother cut.)

• **** Please write your child's name on anything that belongs to your child and will be used/returned to them (e.g., clothing, folder, binders ,etc). Don't forget to label school sweaters and sweatshirts. :) You do NOT need to label communal supplies (e.g. wipes and bottles).

  * Smock with name on it (Can be an old, oversized t-shirt. Returning students already have them at school)
• * If Full Day - a “nap mat” (roll up blanket and built in pillow that is easy for your child to carry)  NOT a Happy Napper, sleeping bag, or crib sheets
• * Reusable water bottle labeled with name
• * 1 full size child's school backpack (without wheels)
  * Velcro sneakers (suggested)
