Hello! The art classes at Sacred Heart are busy exploring and creating different art forms. Our eighth graders are discovering the world of mosaics by using small squares of colored card stock to create mosaic patterns. The first, second and third grades are busy creating Christmas cards for the Annual Holy Childhood Association Christmas Artwork Contest. This contest ends January 31, 2010 and the winning entry will be reproduced as the official 2010 Christmas card of the Pontifical Mission Societies in the U.S. Fourth grade is perfecting the art of weaving and will create portraits of Martin Luther King, Lincoln or Washington.
