Hola! My name is Mrs. Miriam Taaffe. I teach Spanish in Sacred Heart School from Pre-K3 to Eighth grade which I have done for ten years.To assist students at home, I created my own webpage. www.quia.com/pages/senorataaffe.html
I speak six languages and have served as a translator in a public school. My teaching philosophy is to create a positive learning environment, in which the students are focused, relaxed and having fun while learning. I try to maintain the student’s interest in class by engaging them in a variety of fun and interesting learning activities. To create a positive learning environment I strive to know each and every one of my students. I married a wonderful man named Ken, and have been blessed with two terrific children, Jessica and Brian. My hobbies are reading, swimming, traveling, and learning customs, history, and idiosyncrasies of different countries.
