The students were off to a good start today. Please check your child's Home Folder for important information.
Thursday, September 2 is a full day schedule. Students will be dismissed at 2:30
I'm sure we will have a good year.
Miscellaneous:
Our Gym day is Tuesday. On Gym days,school gym uniforms are to be worn to school.
* *Transportation forms must be signed and handed in to the teacher. Teachers are not permitted to dismiss children without proper notification.
*** Students also brought home a classroom handbook. Please review our class booklet with your child.
All homework should be checked each day. Once you check your child's homework, please initial the assignment.
Looking Ahead...
Students will be bringing home books and workbooks to be covered starting Thursday, September 2.
Thursday, September 3
Math: Cover textbook and workbook
Social Studies: Cover textbook
Religion: Cover Religion book (You may use clear contact paper on this book)
Gym class will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 7. Students are to wear school gym uniform.
*** At the end of the day, students were asked if their book bags were to heavy. If they responded yes, I directed them to remove one textbook. If your child doesn't have 2 textbooks in his/her bag, it is because of this direction. More books will be coming home over the days of next week.
