First Grade Classroom

My name is Amanda Gianfortune and I am very excited for my fourth year at Sacred Heart School and second year in First Grade! I just recently graduated with my Undergraduate Degree from Cabrini College as a Early Childhood/Elementary Education Major. This past summer I completed my Master's Degree at Cabrini College to become a Reading Specialist. On this site, I have included important information that will allow you to stay up to date with what is going on in the classroom. This year I will have two wonderful aides working with us. Mrs. Schmid and Mrs. Hilgetag will be a wonderful addition to our first grade family. You will find up-to-date information about class news, interesting website links for parents and children, contact information, and other links or pages that are important for our class. You may even find a picture or two of your child hard at work!
